This Refund Policy explains how IEC Registration Council handles refund requests for our IEC registration, renewal and modification consultancy services. It exists to keep our process transparent, so you know exactly what to expect before you place an order.

We aim for genuine customer satisfaction. If a request falls under one of the eligible situations described below, our dedicated Refund Department reviews it and processes approved refunds promptly. Where a request falls outside these situations — for example, because processing has already been completed on our end — this policy explains why, so there is no ambiguity later.

If you have any concerns or complaints, you may contact us at any time. Our Refund Department will promptly review your request. Where it is determined that we failed to deliver the agreed-upon services, a refund will be initiated within 7–10 working days from the date of approval.

You may be eligible for a refund where any of the following apply:

• The Service was not delivered due to a failure on our part.
• Your request is cancelled before processing has begun (see Cancellation Policy).
• A duplicate or accidental payment is confirmed for the same order.

Eligibility is assessed against the specific Refund Conditions below, which take precedence in case of any conflict.

The following conditions apply to every refund request. They are set out individually below so you can see exactly which situation applies to you.

Once the application preview has been generated and emailed to you, and you choose to cancel the registration after this stage, no refund will be provided. The application preview stage represents substantial work already completed on your request.

No refund will be issued if the application is accepted for processing but is later rejected due to a name mismatch or any incorrect details provided in your documents. Verifying the accuracy of submitted details before confirming your order remains your responsibility, as set out in Applicant Responsibilities in our Terms & Conditions.

If the application cannot be processed because the required documents are not submitted, you do not cooperate with a reasonable request, or for any other reason attributable to you that prevents us from completing the process, a deduction of ₹900 (nine hundred rupees only) will apply as an administrative charge, and the remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.

If any government fees, challans, duties, or other statutory payments have already been paid by us on your behalf during the application process, these amounts will be deducted from any refund due to you, as they cannot be recovered once remitted to the relevant government authority.

If the registration or application has been successfully completed on our end in accordance with applicable government rules, but the issuance of the certificate is delayed by a government department or authority, no refund will be applicable. Such delays occur outside our processing and are outside our control (see also Force Majeure and our Terms & Conditions).

For quick reference, refunds are not granted in the following situations. This summary reflects, and does not add to, the detailed Refund Conditions above.

Once the application preview stage is reached, cancellation is treated under the "No Refund After Application Preview" condition above, and no refund applies from that point onward.

Every refund request follows the same review sequence, handled by our Refund Department:

You will be notified by email of the outcome at each key stage, including the final approval or rejection decision.

• Approved refunds are initiated within 7–10 working days of approval.
• Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of order.
• Once initiated, the time for the amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, and is outside our control.

Any refund payable under this Policy is limited to the consultancy charges actually paid to us for the specific Service in question, less any applicable deductions described above (administrative charges, government fees, challans, duties or statutory payments already incurred).

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including loss of business opportunity, profit, or time — arising from a delayed, rejected, or unsuccessful application, whether or not a refund is granted.

We shall not be liable for any delay or inability to process a refund resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters (flood, earthquake, fire), internet or banking system failures, government actions, cyberattacks, war, or pandemic. Affected refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably possible once the underlying cause is resolved.
